Hi everyone! My name is Lea, and I first started attending Camp Livingstone when I was just 5 years old through family camp (and have been coming every year since!) From that very first experience, I developed a deep love for camp and had the privilege of seeing how the Lord uses camp ministry to impact the lives of so many people.
After two years at Bible School, the Lord so clearly placed full-time missions on my heart, and He opened the door for me to join the year-round ministry team at Livingstone! I’ve been incredibly blessed to continue witnessing the impact of camp ministry—not only in my own life, but also in the lives of so many campers and staff.

My name is Lydie-Shalom and I started out at camp in 2025 as a summer missionary. As I was serving for a summer, I realized that God was calling me to stay year-round. I started out as the community outreach coordinator, and I am now serving in the role of administrative assistant.

I love Christian Camp Ministry! The Lord always does so much in all our hearts drawing us to Himself and having an adventure at the same time! I started on this adventure of camping many years ago with the Scouts in South America, which was wild! and He has guided me ever since. 

My husband and I homeschooled our 6 kids, two are married and one will be married next summer. 

I have saved a quote from a OneHope Magazine a few years back. I keep it on my fridge “It is not riches or rewards that drive us, it’s moments when we see God at work.” This explains my heart for christian camp ministry!

I am a maritime girl, born in Nova Scotia and grew up in Prince Edward Island. I went to camps all my childhood and served in them during my teen years as well. I studied for a year at Word of Life Bible Institute in New York and then a few years later married my first love from Quebec and almost immediately got involved in camp work in la belle province!

I had been the speaker for the Explorers Camps at Camp Livingstone for nine summers, when, two years ago, through a set of circumstances, I felt God calling me to work full time at Camp Livingstone. I left my job in the school system and jointed the team as the discipleship and follow-up coordinator.

In this role I get to…

Train, equip and support the summer staff in the role of presenting the Gospel.
Connect campers to local churches and ministries in their area.
Host kids' rallies and invite them back to camp throughout the year.
Lead and speak in a kids' club year round.
And much much more! My hearts desire is to fill heaven's golden streets with as many kids and families as possible! All for His glory!
